2009年在台大雲林分院，我很幸運地跟著外科陳晉興教授進行了不插管的胸腔鏡手術 (nonintubated thoracoscopic surgery) 的嘗試。目前為止，我有許多的論文著作，都持續在這個主題上。這個經驗有許多故事，在成為一個麻醉醫師的路上給我許多思考、啟發與成長，未來我會試著分享這些心得。

Impossible is nothing. 不可能個屁！

一早更換了臉書的大頭貼照片。眼尖的茱莉預測我下一個五年可能會換成側臉照。五年的預測，顯示了茱莉的細心，因為過去這五年，在臉書這個平台上，我一直就是左邊那個背對著人的大頭貼。

有人關心地提醒我說「這會讓人家覺得你有反社會性格喔。」我倒沒有那麼放在心上。不過行走江湖，雖不必有「黃忠一路，林北骨科」那樣的霸氣，但真名實姓，以面示人，也確實是人生的正途與道理。


把自己翻過來，沒有不可能的事


發現了嗎？

我穿的是同一件衣服。背對人的時候，它說輸贏不重要，盡了力，我跟你一樣驕傲 (Win or Lose, I’m Proud of You for Doing Your Best)。面對人的時候，它說，沒有不可能的事 (IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING)。




1974年開始，addidas 引用拳王阿里 (Muhammad Ali) 的話，以一句 Impossible is nothing. 的標語精確地傳達了企業的精神與目標，他要像所有頂尖的運動員一樣，跑得更快，跳得更高，跳得更遠。


沒有不可能的事


「不可能」是那些俗辣仔最常用的字，以為說了就不干她（他）的事，卻忘了她（他）其實有能力去改變！
「不可能」絕非事實，只是愛打嘴砲的人自我安慰！
「不可能」，是要你放膽去做！
「不可能」激發潛在鬥志！
「不可能」只是暫時！
沒有「不可能」！
不可能個屁！

堅持到終點，最慢又何妨


2009我第一次參加鐵人三項（注意到照片上鐵人的故鄉 — 台東了嗎？），這是當時女友（已經是我孩子的媽了）送我的衣服。所謂鐵人精神，就是不論是用跑的，用走的，還是用爬的，只要靠自己到達終點 (FINISH)，就是鐵人。

雖然，我是最慢的麻醉鐵人。最慢，又何妨？
